You don't need perfect data — even general observations are useful for generating starting strategies.

What you should see: Organized lists like:

• Antecedent strategies: "Provide a task completion checklist, offer choice between two math tasks, use a visual timer to show how much independent work time remains"
• Replacement behaviors: "Use a break card to request a break from the teacher, use a self-monitoring checklist"

Troubleshooting: If suggestions seem generic, add more specific detail about the student's communication level and what strategies have been tried before.
